What data do we collect?
When you submit a project enquiry via our "Start a project" quiz, we collect the following data:
- Name
- Work email address
- Company name
- Project description
- Budget range
- Desired timeline
- Language preference (locale)
- Referral source
- Consent status (yes/no) and consent timestamp
When you contact us via the chatbot (once live), we optionally collect:
- Name (optional)
- Email address (optional)
- Your question or message
- Source (chat)
We may use your quiz answers to assess which services may be relevant to you (profiling). You may object to this at any time by contacting info@jwconsultancy.be.
Why do we collect it?
Your data is used solely to respond to your project enquiry or chatbot contact. We will contact you to discuss your needs and prepare a proposal. We do not use your data for third-party marketing purposes.
Legal basis
We process personal data only where a lawful basis applies. The basis varies by activity:

Where processing is based on consent, your agreement is recorded with a timestamp and the exact label text you accepted. You may withdraw consent at any time.
How long do we keep your data?
We retain lead data for up to 2 years from the date of submission, unless you request deletion earlier or we have an ongoing project for which longer retention is legally required.
Chatbot conversation logs (including your question text) are automatically purged after 90 days. This feature is not yet live; the retention period applies once the chatbot is in operation.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right to access your data
- Right to rectification of incorrect data
- Right to erasure of your data
- Right to object to profiling

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), the Dutch data protection authority.
Third parties — sub-processors
We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We use the following sub-processors:

Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies. Where strictly necessary, functional session storage may be used to ensure the website works correctly. No data is sent to external advertising networks.
